I'm pleased to announce that our websites are now working normally again
Thanks to a small company, www.croftinternet.com, we now have all our websites online and fully functioning again. This also means our usual email addresses are working again.
My husband and I are professional genealogists living in Southern Scotland with regular access to the National Archives of Scotland in Edinburgh. We have three areas of our business.
1. We index and transcribe historic records. We now have a free searchable on-line census database with added features such as links to modern and historical maps. More recent and ongoing projects are the indexing of the prison registers in Southern Scotland, transcribing births, marriages and deaths not found in the OPR’s and transcribing the records of the Kelso Dispensary.
2. We produce beautiful family tree books. We research the family, add photos, maps, documents and stories then have this unique book bound by a local craftsman. The perfect gift!
3. We can research on your behalf to help you overcome an obstacle to your own research or perhaps search an original record in an archive you don’t have access to. We can also produce starter genealogy reports to help you get your genealogy project started.
This blog will help you keep up-to-date with our free resources, paid for resources, genealogy packages as well as other little pieces of genealogical information that I find along the way.
